Clubman’s Membership was designed to cater for the golfer who does not play enough golf to justify a full annual subscription to a golf club; but who would still like to be a member of a golf club with the rights and privileges associated therewith (handicaps, social events, competitions etc.)
Naunton Downs Golf Club has researched and tailored a membership category to cater for the above-mentioned golfer.
- Clubman’s Membership allows the occasional golfer to be a member of a club and play golf at a reasonable price per round.
- Clubman’s Membership will allow you to gain an official CONGU club handicap.
- Clubman’s Membership will allow you to enter midweek club competitions.
- Clubman’s Membership allows you to introduce guests to play at the club
(3 guests per member per visit). - Clubman’s Membership will allow you to upgrade to Full Membership at any time during your membership period.
- Clubman’s Membership will allow you to use all of the clubhouse facilities.
- Clubman’s Membership allows you free unlimited use of the tennis facilities for you and your immediate family.
- Clubman’s Membership allows you to be a member of more than one golf club without too much cost.

Clubman’s Membership costs £430.00 plus your English & County Golf Unions Fees (Gents £15.00, Ladies £17.40).
Clubman’s Members will receive a membership swipe card charged with 430 units of golfing credit that will be debited from their card on the following basis:
Monday & Tuesday 12 units per round
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 15 units per round
Weekends & Bank Holidays 21 units per round
Therefore your Clubman's Membership allows you:
35 rounds of golf Monday & Tuesday
28 rounds of golf Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
20 rounds of golf Weekends & Bank Holidays
Clubman's Silver
Clubman’s Silver Membership costs £310.00 plus your English & County Golf Unions Fees (Gents £15.00, Ladies £17.40).
Clubman’s Silver Members will receive a membership swipe card charged with 310 units of credit that will be debited from their card on the following basis:
Monday & Tuesday 14 units per round
Wednesday, Thursday & Friday 17 units per round
Weekends & Bank Holidays 23 units per round
Therefore you Clubman's Membership Silver allows you:
22 rounds of golf Monday & Tuesday
18 rounds of golf Wednesday, Thursday & Friday
13 Rounds of golf Weekends & Bank Holidays
The golfing credit on all swipe cards is valid for 12 months from the start of membership and must be used up within this period.
It cannot be carried over or used for any other purpose.
